Mont-Tremblant

I’m currently on a mini vacation in Mont-Tremblant. I thought the drive up here would kill me, but it wasn’t too bad. Left Brampton at about 5:00am and reached our Hotel at almost noon … so total drive was about 7 hours including a 45 minute stop over. I don’t do any winter sports, I just kinda tagged along … making use of the hotel amenities … sleeping in until noon … just needed this time to relax.

I am kinda shocked that a place like Westin … I mean Le Westin … has the worst beds ever (my back is killing me btw)… tube television (but who really stays in a hotel room anyway?!? Uuuummm for people like me who isn’t into winter activities) … I was in shock!!! I have stayed at the Westin at Blue Mountain and that place is immaculate!! I’d have to say the view here is absolutely breathtaking!!!

I can’t believe there is not a Starbucks or a Second Cup in the Village, I guess I was expecting it because Blue Mountain had it. I’ve tried 3 coffee spots and the lattes are terrible … and it ain’t cheap!!! Westin hotels do provide Starbucks coffee … but I need my white mocha or caramel macchiatto!!! Thank God I got my beaver tail fix!!

Well tonight’s our last night … where will we be dining tonight? So sick of eating out for the past 2 days, lunch & dinner … can’t wait to get back into Toronto and have a homecooked meal.

Dining Schedule:

Friday Brunch – A&W
Friday Night – Pizzateria
Saturday Lunch – Le Sol (Mexican food) … wanna come back to this place for the fried ice cream
Saturday Dinner – Fat Mardis (Louisana Food)
Sunday Lunch – Smoke’s Poutinerie (definitely the healthiest choice!!!)
